Oblivion is human. Cellphone, wallet or keys - once in a while each of us forget things. The sideboard »Remind me« preserves us from this daily issue and helps to think about important things before we leave the flat. In the entrance or in the hallway of an apartment it serves a storage area for keys, cellphone or purses.
The bulb symbolizes in the theory of perception a placeholder for intelligence, Ideas and Innovation. Integrated into this piece of furniture, it serves not only as a lamp, but also acts as a concrete impulse to remember things. »Remind me« comes with a motion sensor that lights up the bulb on top of the sideboard, when coming close. Like this we will be remembered when ever we are about to leave the flat. The side board is made out of oak and a foot of powder-coated steel and finally com-pleted with brass mounts.
Remind me was awarded with the BOLIA Design Award 2015 and won the 3. prize of the Design competition DING/DONG.
